All the units, except for the penthouses, are rented out at 80 Dekalb. But the Brownstoner Marketplace has a studio rental by owner if you’re kicking yourself for missing the boat. Obviously everything’s pretty new and shiny, and this unit is way up on the 35th floor. We’ll also say this looks much more spacious than your average studio. But the rent goes for $2,130 a month, sans broker fee, and it’s only for ten months with option to renew. Sounds like someone got transferred right after renting this place!

  1. “Nope, DH. Both are equally retarded. ”

Well yeah, you think the entire rental market is retarded.

I think sitting on the train an extra half an hour to save a couple hundred bucks and gain a room i’ll likely never go into is retarded. to each his own.

  2. Do they have clothes hanging over the shower curtain rail in one picture? lol.

I live in a studio in BK & it’s nowhere near as cramped as this. This place is too small to live as an adult.

  3. I’m not sure if I’m losing it or not but, why does it sound like that price is okay for many of the people on this posting. $2k for a studio in Fort Greene is borderline retard` (ala Hangover style). There is absolutely no reason to pay that much money in Fort Greene, especially in the DKLB location (which is rather whack). I’m sure the people that can and are high enough to pay that much money to live in DKLB are going to hangout on Fulton Mall. I live off Dekalb on Adelphi and pay way less for a large 1bdrm in an apt bldg (not brownstone). Sorry, I guess I’m just astonished by what people will pay (and how much) for the little they get.
