Bed Stuy

An historically black neighborhood, Bed Stuy is rich in African American culture. In the 1960s, the New York Times referred to the area as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem.” One of the largest neighborhoods in Brooklyn, Bed Stuy is a central spot in the brownstone belt. Its historic houses rival those of Park Slope in grandeur.
