  1. We always had leg of lamb with mint jelly – not mint sauce!

Recently, BH told me that he grew up with mint sauce – a vinegary mint leaf thing. We did a taste test with lamb chops. Mint sauce – pretty good! Mint jelly – seemed to overwhelm.

  2. I don’t like mint jelly either, but that is neither here nor there, it’s TRADITION!
A nice rasted leg o’mutton with a side of mashed potatoes and carrots, and of course, mint jelly, is the traditional easter sunday repast chez moi.

  3. I’m with Sam: Lamb for dinner.

In my mom’s house though, we went with lasagna.

My mom is such a good cook (don’t tell my wife I said that).
When I was in high school, my mom used to make eggplant parmigiana sandwiches for me. For some reason, I don’t like EP. Fear not, however, the food did not go to waste. My mom’s EP was so famous, I used to auction them off to others at school.
