  1. bx — you can take it in a savory direction, too, and treat it like a matzoh omelette. You can also keep it neutral (pinch of salt) and just top it however you want or eat it plain. I am not a huge traditionalist on this, but the underlying recipe is always the same — soften the matzoh pieces with boiling water, mix with egg, fry.

    i had to take a break from this site on Friday – it really got to me – all the fighting on every thread

    BRG – I think a trad Easter meal usually involves Ham – my mom made a ham with a curry peach and pineapple gravy that was delish!

    I love ‘breakfast for dinner’ nights. We do it every couple of weeks. Bacon and eggs. Pierogies and eggs and sausages. It’s fun, and yummy. Now we can add matzoh brei to the mix!
