  1. While you are focusing on this faux-socialist and the 3,000 dollar hotel room, I am absolutely astounded at what a complete head-case running this agency and the main challenger to Sarkozy. Have you guys read what this guy supposedly did? And what he has done in the past? He is accused of physically attacking a maid, locking her in a room and sodomizing her. She was fighting like hell and then he ran after her, she was hospitalized for trauma, then released. He apparantly did something similar to a key politician’s daughter, who at the urging of her power conscious mother, never officially pressed charges (now mother regretting it and daughter called him a “rutting chimpanzee”. He was famous for hitting on all women who worked for him (he got a slap on the wrist for “having an affair” with an economist who worked for him, who said that she was constantly threatened by him).

A complete nut job running the IMF.

  2. yeah sometimes people pick names for kids that do nothing but secure they will not be successful in life. i do however kinda like stripper names. but like seriously, if you got a resume with the name Candi or Brittani would you take it seriously?

  3. “Socialism never ends up actually being about fairness and opportunity. Socialism starts with all sorts of naive goals and *always* ends as a vehicle for those in power to enrich themselves (monetarily or otherwise) through the state.”

So the only difference from capitalism is that socialism starts with worthy goals?
