OK, enough with the politics. I have an bigger issue.

I am taking a 7:20 am American flight out of LGA tomorrow morning. I’ve never done LaGuardia at that time of day, so I am not sure what to expect when it comes to traffic getting there are security lines.
Any experiences or advice?

Unions grew out of workplace abuses. I think it critical to remember that- it was thanks to unions that workplace conditions have so improved over the years. I don’t like unions- they may have gotten too big for their britches, but on the other hand, having worked for an abusive boss or two, I wished at times I did have one to go to for help.

There’s nothing wrong with collective bargaining if its made in good faith on both sides. The union issue is more than just an issue of the economy- its also about worker’s rights and workplace issues. I don’t expect CEO’s to worry about my health care or dangerous work conditions, but a union does. they aren’t perfect- lord knows- but then again, neither are CEOs

Obama joined the fray because he’s the most left winged of any president we’ve had in history. he’s also a politician and is posturing wrt the electorate. I sincerely believe though that he doesn’t have his finger on the pulse of America anymore…hence the “shellacking”

dont let overpaid CEOs over shadow that those corporations providing great paid and benefits to the employees.
