Liberal women don’t consider Palin part of their “herd.” Palin has her own herd mentality- in fact she loves comparing herself to animals Except wolves, who she shoots from helicopters). Animals probably don’t appreciate the comparisons.
Liberal women aren’t threatened by her- they see her for what she is- a hypocrite. Perfectly willing to use her gender to get what she wants, and take advantage of all the strides forward women have made, but willing to throw those strides under a bus. She gets a lot of media hype based on very little accomplishment. She is a threat- not to liberal women, but to women’s rights.
“ And I think it’s fair to use the word “threatened”. Palin is threatening to liberal women because there is a power to herds thinking uniformly, and when women like Palin think differently it threatens that power. “We’re all women and we stand united on XYZ” can be pretty powerful, but when there’s a successful, popular woman standing over there saying “um, no, that’s bullshit, and guess what I’m a woman” that can be threatening. And you can’t just kick her out of your herd, you’re stuck with her because she’s a woman. So you hate on her super super hard because her difference threatens you.â€
Nope. Not threatened. I’m not concerned with girl power the same way I’m not looking for Jew power. I just don’t want people to look at her and have it color their impression of me. Same way I don’t like stupid tourists making a bad name for Americans when out of the country.
To be fair, the Democrats don’t have too many policy proposals on the table right now either. They’re all over the map with their message, while Republicans are clear on their message, but have no substance.
Etson – thanks – I actually believe the OT discussions have helped me learn more than I know or thought I knew. Here’s Hoping it rubs off in my interview!”
As long as you don’t start rubbing off in your interview it’s all good gem!

Greetings Bx!
Politicians are like diapers. You need to change them regularly and for the same reason.
“I wasn’t saying I’m liberal CGar”
I know, jackal, but you know I think you’re a bleeding heart Park Slope liberal masquerading as Rand Paul.
Jack Slade…welcome to the dark side!!!!!

Republicans really don’t have any policy proposals to temper.
