  1. “Most people on this blog were not adversely affected by the downturns of the economy”

Huh? I can’t think of one person not somehow affected by the downturn. Granted, some were much more affected than others, but there are very few people who are better off financially, employment-wise, etc. now than they were two years ago.

  2. “I agree with him that he has made more jokes about his own religion than any other and if you see his posts, he is consistently good-hearted, and gently takes others to task for unfairly attacking another.”

Jeez, I go to a stinking meeting, pop in for some light entertainment, and everyone has gone and gotten all serious. Have to second donatella about Biff. He is the king of self-deprecating humor, I mean humour, and would not intentionally offend anyone.

  3. “i think benson’s point is that it seems okay to only be able to make fun of some religions, but not others.”

    YEAH, HIS RELIGION!

it’s okay to make fun of some races, but heavens forbid you made fun of some races youre deemed a racist.

YEAH, HIS RACE! or I should say his ethnicity.

  4. I thought it was COmedy Central itself that did the censorship or no longer made available the episodes. Not that Stone and the other guy who write Southpark limited themselves, Did I not get that right?

  5. benson- you are always the first one to cry hypocrite. You constantly toss out little snide remarks aimed at several of us and lable us the hall monitors. Yet here you are, hall monitoring with the best of ’em. Funny how you only react to the things you think are important, so here’s my comment to you. POT, KETTLE, BLACK.

  6. lecahcal has a point. it’s nice to have all this foo foo cupcake shops all over but sweet baked goods like that are an IMPULSE PURCHASE.

There are two regulatory issues: You can either sell at a shop/restaurant and be monitored by the Dept of health or you can sell wholesale (in lech’s example…bars and elsewhere) and direct to consumer (internet) and make these in a kitchen that has to be FDA approved.

it just so happens that I know of an FDA approved kitchen that is starting up and will rent out space.

  7. Cobble, perhaps the next CobbleSnaps event should feature mini-mushrooms as a snack. Nutritious and it can symbolize the big mushroom cloud left behind from the exploding financial nuclear bomb 🙂
