Heather — I’m family-less and of “modest means.” tybur6@gmail.com is my e-mail. I’m thinking a 2-bed in FG or Bed-Stuy is going to be out of my price range. But worth a look. I’ll probably end up in one of these ugly rent-stabilized monstrosities with the incongruously pretty lobbies.
Biff – I have an MBA in Marketing and will say if she’s planning on starting a chain, I hope she takes a number of business fundamentals courses. Too many of us marketers (I’m in brand mgmt) are idea rich and execution poor, much like consultants.

Biff, there’s a few called Europa…one of them is on 53rd across from Citicorp. There’s also a huge one on W 51st (bet 6 & 7) I believe..Conovan (maybe Conova) or some name like that. it was one of the first and has EVERYTHING imaginable.
There’s a few places listed on the FG parents group this morning, Tybur. 2-bedrooms. One in Bed Stuy and one in prime FG. You have access? I could forward the listings if you need.
