  1. I was real good friends with my doormen back in Manhattan. I had to be. they knew all of my tricks that were coming and going. Luis got me out of a potential situation once when i had someone home and someone else showed up downstairs. When I answered the intercom he made it sound like it had gone to my cell phone and I was not home!!!!

I thought it was funny when Mike (unfortunately now deseased) made fun of my Indonesian friend named Fardian.

  2. “I’m in my 30s and I grew up in Massachusetts and Vermont (sheep and chickens were in Massachusetts, the other “real work” was in Vermont)”

Triple jinx. I’m in my 30s and grew up in the Berkshires (Huntington MA) and then Southern VT (outside of Bratt).

  3. I had a dime allowance until I was 10 (6 pence in UK). Then it went up to a quarter. It wasn’t tied to chores – making bed, etc. I could earn more for doing extras – grandfather was very indulgent in that area.

Pete obviously wants a corner named after him a la Jackie Connor. Can we give him one now so he’ll not feel the need to take down posters?
