  1. Lost the paperwork??? This doctor sounds like an absolute idiot. Prescribing an anti depressant not knowing a patients history other than a cursory scan of blood work is borderline negligent. Sounds like he’d make a good Corcoran broker if he loses his license.

  2. Wellbutrin is the same drug chemically as the smoking cessation drug (forgetting the name now). That may be why he prescribed it. But be careful. Wellbutrin is known to cause seizures.

What did the doctor say about your levels of HDL & LDL???

he didnt mention that. 1.) he lost the paperwork as to why i was originally there :-/ but he had my blood test results. he asked me what i was tested for. i said i dont know. he said he wouldnt normally give someone blood work for no reason. so i told him i came in for a bad cough and a back spasm resulting from that and he said oh. then he asked me how it was on chantix and i said it sucked and so he prescribed me an anti-depressant (wellbutrin) which i dont think i will be filling because that drug is like something housewives from the 90s took. i dont think i need it. he said it helps with quitting smoking tho, but i looked up the side effects and i didnt like what i saw.

plus anti-depressants are the last thing i need, seriously.

  4. Foods that lower cholesterol:
    Extra virgin Olive Oil
Fatty Fish – Salmon, Tuna, mackerel
Green Leafy Vegetables (high in fiber) – spinich, broccoli rabe, etc.
    Tomatoes
Fruits – lots and lots of fruits, exp. red grapefruit
    Beans
Nuts – walnuts (you can scratch your eye out with them), almonds, peanuts
    Oatmeal, bran
    Garlic
    Green Tea
    Red wine
And believe it or not dark chocolate. Make sure it’s at least 60% cocoa

Try to avoid fatty foods and sugary (made with refined sugar) stuff.
