Rob – It can be either way. Whatever you do, don’t suggest it’s just as well it happened since the baby wouldn’t’ve been viable. That’s not a comforting thought to mothers who have miscarried.
and i feel gross for even asking, and i dont even wanna google it, but when someone has a miscarriage, does that mean they basically gave birth, but early and the fetus is not alive, or is it alive?

Rob, one of my friends had a miscarriage recently too.
All you can do is be there for them if they want to talk.
rob, a phone call or a note expressing how sorry you are. Just don’t go all bill clinton on her.
Rob – There’s not much you can do except sympathize & be supportive as you would be for any other death in a family.
“Did you black out and walk 10 miles?”
That would be great – better than what I usually do, black out and eat a roast beef sammich.
that’s terrible rob – i wouldn’t know what to do either, but i’m sure someone will have a good idea
It’s the gout.

I just emailed him. he hasn’t been here in a few days. He’s probably out bidding on houses.
