Rental of the Day: 359 Van Brunt Street
Here’s a pretty sweet Red Hook rental for a very reasonable rent. This three-bedroom, two-bathroom place is 2,200 square feet over two floors. It is also boasting a gut renovation, working fireplaces, and an extra 625 square feet of private terrace. Awesome! The rent of $3,800 a month isn’t bad either. And did we mention…

“not if you are say a couple that both work from home- 1 bedroom to sleep, 2 for offices.”
A couple both working from home will be split up in 6 months, so get a short lease.
I don’t understand the hype about living in Red Hook. While I love the area for it’s waterfront and industrial grit and warehouse buildings. I can’t fathom paying that kind of rent.
And every morning I’d have to back a lunch cause it’ll take until noon to get to the train station.
“That rent is unreasonable given you can’t walk to a train within 10 minutes”

I would get fat living above Baked!
Great looking place, but Red Hook is just too remote for me. I couldn’t justify a great apartment if I’d have to spend all my time calling Arecibo.
Let me guess — they pay you to list their apartment here?

I’d love to live there and pretend I am a sea captain on leave
