Rental of the Day: 428 3rd Street
We quite like this two-and-a-half bedroom rental at 428 3rd Street in Park Slope. The details and the layout are quite agreeable, and the kitchen looks pretty nice to us too (though Mr. B won’t like those new cabinets, we suspect). NYC just got LESS expensive over the past 2 years, Ty so now you’re not really making much sense.
Can’t question IT, Rob.
Can’t question on Rob… You have to blindly support the feedback loop. If all goes well, NYC will be more expensive than Tokyo in no time! Or go down in a flames, but at least we went down trying to make the city unimaginably expensive!
quote:
“plus my dog loves NYC, so that keeps me here. i have no problem paying high rents to give him a better quality of life.”
A while back you said you did not bond too closely w/your dog. Now you say you are here for him. Which is it?
yeah i dont have an insane bond with my dog. doesnt mean i dont love him and want to provide a good life for him. lots of people dont bond with their kids yet still provide for them in nice ways. plus, i think we do have a bond, it’s just different i guess. we are more like interspecies frenemies or something.
yeah people always jump down anyones back when you question why things are so expensive. i was totally dog piled when i questioned 10 dollar scoops of ice cream. why cant i question such absurdity?

Thanks jessibaby, but I think Rob can respond for himself. Unless, as I suspect, he’s just talking out of his ass again.
(Thanks Benson!)
Ty;
By the way: I want some credit for backing you up.
😉
By the way — Economists study, ad nauseum, this topic. The economic health of a city, a state, a nation in relation to the various components that constitute the cost-of-living. But I’m not allowed to ask the question.
ENY – not mutually exclusive. His dog likes it here and it is with detached generosity that he provides quality of life for his dog.
