Rental of the Day: 428 3rd Street
We quite like this two-and-a-half bedroom rental at 428 3rd Street in Park Slope. The details and the layout are quite agreeable, and the kitchen looks pretty nice to us too (though Mr. B won’t like those new cabinets, we suspect). DH, and you were complaining to me about lack of trees in your hood?!!!!!!
“Not liking a computer, I can understand. But nature? ”
I have very bad allergies – I avoid parks like the plague!
And you know that for a fact, how Jessi?
I think it’s selfish to deprive a dog of grass and running around because its owner doesn’t like parks. Sorry, but we’ll never know if “not all dogs like parks” but given that dogs (and plants) and humans were all created to live on this planet, it would seem a little strange for an animal to not enjoy some grass.
Not liking a computer, I can understand. But nature?
Not all dogs like parks.
by the way, salaries for the regular jobs that we do is much lower elsewhere. so a entry accountant might make 60k here but only 28k in some smaller city. plus cant bitch about how expensive stuff is when one is eying the premo areas and refusing to look at the more affordable areas.
100k per yr is big shit elsewhere but whe stacked against the many folks making 500k, 2M…. that’s chump change.
now if a carton of milk in the corner grocery is $10, then yeah that I would agree is ridiculous.
Rob, didn’t you say you never take your dog to Prospect Park because you hate that place because it has horses or something?
So you have a dog, live in a neighborhood known for its world class park, claim to hate NYC, love your dog yet never take him to said park?
Do I have that about right?
And I was wrong, NYC is actually the 29th most expensive city in the world. Not 22. And definitely not 8th, as Ty suggests. In the new ranking, NYC fell quite a few spots:

I always agree with Tybur on principle, but:
A) there’s nothing we can do about it
B) thinking about it is bound to give one an ulcer.
“yeah i dont have an insane bond with my dog. doesnt mean i dont love him and want to provide a good life for him. lots of people dont bond with their kids yet still provide for them in nice ways.”
Yeah, that explanation says a lot about you.
