the ditmas house isn’t so great at all. saw it when it was listed with marykay, which was only a few months ago – guess she didn’t have much luck luring a prospective buyer.

many of the ditmas houses u see on corcoran (or other agents, for that matter) show great photos, but once you’ve seen them in person you quickly realize the amount of reno that need to be done – whether they be cracked walls, uneven floors, exterior condition, etc. this house will definitely need some work and attention.

plus, that end of dorchester is really skank, not to mention the surrounding apartment buildings.
i’m thinking this is an 850k house at best.

more4less, yes I did hit the mega million last week. You saw me on the news. My life will now end . .. god, do you ever watch those horrifying shows about people who win the lottery and their lives become a living hell?

I don’t know Prospect Heights prices well enough really to say, but, yes, did strike me as on the low side for that much beautiful original detail and that size house. But that’s why am asking, because I really don’t know.

(I find the Ditmas Park house particularly appealing because it is regular sized, not what feels to me double-sized like many of those lovely houses.)

18th Street is so beautiful. Boy do I regret we didn’t expand our search to Ditma/Kensington/Vic Flatbush.
