“7th Street looks nice, but photos as bad — worse — than the FSBO. Pics of ground cover in the backyard. Thanks!” (Ringo)
Yeah — bad.
Not sure, BHS, just know that map of hers came up a few weeks/months ago, and quite a few folks chimed with corrections/disagreements.
Boerum Hill, which ones do they not agree with? I know the ones north of Courtelyou best, less familiar with the others though have biked and walked through.
ishtar has a good point about that stretch of Sterling Place.
Thanks, BHS. Oddly enough, a lot of locals don’t concur with all of MKG’s classification of micro-nabes…which is kind of ironic since she started selling around the time Dick Nixon declared he had a secret plan for peace with honor.
Mary Kay Gallagher’s web site has a good map of the larger Victorian Flatbush neighborhood with all of the sub-neighborhoods labeled, mapped, and described.

Ok. Think I am getting it about the price of the Sterling Place house.
I’d like to look at the 15th St. house.
Honestly, you can find similar houses to that place on Sterling between Franklin and Bedford for less than $1 mil (pick your street) and if you want to keep it real, this part of Prospect Heights is no safer than CH a few blocks east. By buying a few blocks east at LEAST you get closer to express trains and save yourself a couple hundred thousand.
15th street house is my friend’s house. I am sad they are leaving. There is no carpet in the bathroom, they recently renovated the downstairs, adding a renovated second bath with a pocket door. It’s small, that house, and there’s not really any interior detail… BUT it is adorable. That is the main thing about it. The backyard is about as big as the house. And I guess they are taking the chickens and leaving the coop.
