BoGoSlo, heehee.
I vote for BoGoSlo, it beats SoFla.
I really like the flow of the house on Irving, but it’s a bit pricy.
Househunt, I’d spend my imaginary million in PLG happily… for a detached six-bedroom victorian on Lincoln road or something. But I think that price should be the top end of that neighborhood? Then again, I also think the Irving Place house is crazily expensive for its size and location… just in the long run I am slightly more bullish on its location.
I like PLG a lot, actually… but it’s one of those neighborhoods where it seems like it would make more sense to rent in a stabilized building than buy something that costs about ten times what everyone else is paying in rent.
now i know what the function of language is. thanks.
you may find yourself happier if you can learn to live with a certain amount of uncertainty. not only relevant to id’ing nabes, but also wrt language and, indeed, life.
do you need a passport to move from lower central slope to carroll gardens? are there green signs on dekalb saying *leaving ft greene. forgetaboutit?* where are the minutemen? we need them here in bk.

Where oh where is 11217 when you need him!!!
That Sackett home seems very overpriced, at least from what shows on the website.
Maybe it’s spectacular inside? But I’m dubious.
It seems like it may be a flipped property, which would be a bad sign for the renovations. According to Property Shark, a deed transfer was recorded in 2006. Is it a flipper trying to make good on her height-of-the-market purchase?
summit street house is way overpriced… not suprised though
I was actually going to post here to ask people if this was something you could request help with thru 311. I have never called and have only hesitated because I feel that churches are exempt from noise complaints. Not necessarily because I would feel bad about it.
This church was just restored and as much as I like that the scaffolding is down. (Scaffolding is up there with my big hates alongside poop breath, hard mini pretzels and Kenny G.)It really has affected our sleep now that it’s warm and the windows are open it’s a whole new kind of clang. You know, I just love OLD things but come on!
But back to the house if you are interested stick around just so you can hear what happens EVERY hour – it’s worth it and wear protection and practice those kegels..mmm kay.
Antidope,
Identifying neighborhoods is important. It’s important to be able to identify things about which we speak. That is the basic function of language: to facilitate communication.
