Sackett is not Lower CENTER Slope.
It’s Lower NORTH Slope.
Center Slope begins at either Garfield or 1st Street, depending on your take.
No?
Pigeon, I just assumed since the pic showed it next to a BIG church.
There’s one 2 1/2 blocks away from me…the big brownstone Episcopal church on Mac Donough across from the houses that the DOB wanted to tear down. I can hear the bell from afar when my windows are open and I like it but I would NOT want to live on the same block!!!!!
“Someone please break the bell!”
Phew!
Very funny, in a “I’m glad it’s not me” kind of way.
How did Dibs know (at 1:23) about that bell?
Pigeon, the PLG Tudors were built by the Brighton Building Company in 1914-1915. They are within the Lefferts Manor Historic District. I’m sure Bob Marvin could elaborate further, hopefully he’ll comment.
Yes Center Slope….
Park Slope is generally divided North, South & Center – and on an East/West axis as Upper and Lower
This is Lower Center Slope
Heather, Why would you spend 1M for Clinton Hill but not for Lefferts Garden?
Center Slope? I don’t think so.
STOp it, Ljubica, for the love of god, you’re killin’ me here.
Something about your rants and your liberal use of the lord’s name in block letters and your dramatic and spot on exaggerations brings up liquid through my nose every time.
You are a riot! Love.
The location on Sackett is less than ideal because it is not 321 and because the block has the empty lot/water project at the end of it and a decent number of rentals but it is hardly “the fringe” of Park Slope it is as center slope as you can get, and is close to the train and the house itself is pretty close to 5th. Again at 1.75 its the greatest location you’ll find at 2.25 – not so much
