i know you all might think im crazy and others have said it as well about prices… but given what people in REAL LIFE make salary wise these houses should all be between 125k and 250k. these prices are absurd, and come like 2020 when the real shi+ hits the fan on Earth, these will be worth about 10K – 20K. i think people need to get real. sellers and buyers.

Bfarwell, I think Brownstoner felt sorry for Benson and tried to pick something he would like.
Another thing about 1255 Carroll is that Realty on the Greene is not a REBNY (http://www.rebny.com/members_websites_residential.jsp) member, so she does NOT have to co-broke (REBNY members like Corocran, Elliman, etc must co-broke and split the commission 50/50). A catch-22 because if you go direct with Kathryn Lily as a dual agent/direct buy, good luck getting far in negotiations, let alone full disclosure in your due dilligence!
Actually saw the inside of that Dean Street house. So, if you really want a laugh, stop by the OH this week. Corcoran had a renovated one on that block that went for around 850-900 two years back, I think, so perhaps the sellers have fantasies. Then Century 21 tried the same and failed.
The CH house looks nice, but it’s a shame the seller doesn’t know how to sell. Get buyers there to see the place, then play hardball.
BHS, I suspect she was chuckling deviously while snapping away.
That whole block has absolutely gorgeous houses (mine included of course!) but this particular one has been gutted…..and killed somehow.
Question: Owner/realtor combo explains rainbow picture with the Carroll St house but what explains the blurry photos?
Answer: Her nasty attitude!
Dean street is a joke! Is it a open house pick for irony’s sake?
Owner/realtor combo explains rainbow picture with the Carroll St house but what explains the blurry photos? Yikes on Dean St–that’s pricey.
