  1. “I can’t believe no one has commented yet on the last photo for the 1255 Carroll listing. I am not a Realtor, but shouldn’t a “hardball” one know better than to post a photo with a butt’s-eye view of her two dogs, and not even on the property?”

    lol

I didn’t notice the dog asses because I was too busy wondering what to think of that basement wall.

Looks like some sort of badly made head cheese…

The dogs are probably part of some broker bet, e.g., who can get the highest $$/sq. ft. for a property with dogass in the pictures.

  2. ENY, you have no idea how pissed I am!
We’ve been looking in Crown Heights and Bed Stuy on and off now for a year. I say on and off cause I’ll get upset (over realtor bullshit) and stop looking. At this point I cringe when I talk to them. And now I have a preconceived notion that whatever they’re going to say is bullshit. I know it’s wrong.

Maybe one day, I recant my saga of trying to buy 2 apartments (not in those nabes)at the height of the market. I was going back and forth with the realtor for about 8 months or so trying to negotiate with the stupidest realtor on earth. I gave up; the real estate market tanked, the apartments are still empty.

  3. I’m going to stop looking at this thread cause it’s making me depressed.

But before I go, one last comment directed to home sellers and realtors.

There are people looking for homes in this price point. And yes, we’re looking in Crown Heights and Bed Stuy. GET SERIOUS with pricing these houses accordingly. Lots of listings seem overpriced in these two nabes, are you thinking this is the next wave, next real estate boom for these area? STOP playing the ‘let’s price this POS high, cause these cheap buyers probably don’t know what they’re looking at’. Believe me some of us are better versed in architecture and design then you can ever aspire to.
I’m sick of dealing with you realtors that don’t know the nabe or the nearest subway. I’m sick of being told it has original details and I show up and there’s one fireplace. I’m tired of reading your over-hyped ads and looking at blurry dark pics. Don’t waste my time with your bullshit!!

Get serious and believe me you’ll have buyers.
