Co-op of the Day: 115 Eastern Parkway, #3D
This one-bedroom co-op at 115 Eastern Parkway in Prospect Heights has been the lucky recipient of a rather spiffy makeover recently. The asking price of $450,000 might be higher than usual for this building, but clearly this renovation deserves some kind of premium. You can check out the modern stylings at Sunday’s open house. Is this a real apartment? It looks like leftover space. or a converted janitors closet. The layout is appalling, even by NYC standards.
Pretzel dont get salty with me I read your comment posted at 2:39. Hey if you want to be a ninnie then *poof* a ninnie you shall be.
” I couldn’t picture more than 2 (very in love) ppl living in the space.”
It’s a one bedroom apartment. How many people are supposed to live in it?
I saw an apartment in this building when I was a “ninny in the market for an apartment.” If it’s the same line as the one I saw– and it looks like it is– the bedroom is actually a decent size and can fit a queen bed. The living room/kitchen combo, however, is *really* small. I couldn’t picture more than 2 (very in love) ppl living in the space. Also, the balcony is an oversized juliet balcony– no space for a table or chairs.
The white banquette makes me feel ashamed and confused.
@Jack Slade: I am actually in the market. But I don’t see any reason why anyone has to be in the market, to have an opinion or provide a critique on a listing.
“450K is way overpriced for this unit in this building. Last month I saw a 1 BR in this building on the 6th floor with nicer layout, great light, decent views, but smaller and outdated kitchen listed at 350K.”
5D also closed for 405k with the same layout and presumably a less fancy reno.

How many of you ninnies are really in the market for an apt?
no comment on the price, but use of space is terrific actually.
