Bad News for Bed Stuy Bodegas
From a Bed-Stuy Patch article written by a real estate broker: “Let your friends know you heard it here first: Bed Stuy mixed-use property is about to explode. When this happens, start the clock on your local bodegas. Because in about five years, their time will be up.” Photo by gkjarvis

Somehow in our bizarro world here the guy who lives in Park Slope and works in Tribeca is the one schooling us on the joys of bodegas!
Dave – I’m pretty sure you live there because you thought it would be the next neighborhood to gentrify and you’d make a ton of money off of your brownstone – a house with period detail, low taxes and close to an express train. (Not that I’ve thought about it, haha)
“OK, rob, I’ll bite. Why do people live in bed Stuy???????”
I’m thinking his answer will seriously annoy quite a few of us.
OK, rob, I’ll bite. Why do people live in bed Stuy???????
> the first quote you posted was rhetorical.
I don’t think that word means what you think it means, given that you followed up your “rhetorical” question with “serious question btw..”

Rob, your love for grimy bodegas is totally ridiculous.
