Bad News for Bed Stuy Bodegas
From a Bed-Stuy Patch article written by a real estate broker: “Let your friends know you heard it here first: Bed Stuy mixed-use property is about to explode. When this happens, start the clock on your local bodegas. Because in about five years, their time will be up.” Photo by gkjarvis

Rob, you know WaWa only extends into PA and Virginia. Not the midwest 🙂

here is my point… i admittedly i went off the rails because the tone of this post was rather, well, vile and disgusting.. the point is that a functioning city, or anyplace really, NEEDS certain areas where the amenities aren’t up to par with the snooty class. it’s like why do some of you even live in bed stuy? oh yeah, that’s right, cuz it’s “cheap” … well not as overpriced as the rest of the city anyway.. if you want snooty amenities, then move to an area that has them on every corner! you can’t have your cake and eat it too. and do NOT question why i choose to live in park slope, it’s aint any of anyone’s business

ROB, HAVE YOU EVEN TASTED MY LINGONBERRY-GLAZED CHICKEN WINGS!?

I’ll sure miss those pig’s feet.
Why would anyone go to Pathmark when Foodtown is just as good?…she asks as she heads out to Fairway.
if rob ruled the world – we’d all be shopping at bodegas and only buying newports, 40s and vinegar.
::sigh::
I quit.
I don’t hate it. Quite the contrary. Do i wish i could buy fresh produce and organic (yes, i said it) chicken within 3 blocks of my house, of course. Which is where the unserved market is.

I’m not sure the average local has the time or money to support that.
