20 Grace Court Alley Sells for $2,995,000
The 2,550-square-foot brick house at 20 Grace Court Alley closed on Friday for $2,995,000, about 9 percent less than the original asking price but about 9 percent more than the average widget appraisal of $2,758,887. It doesn’t get much more charming than this. House of the Day: 20 Grace Court Alley [Brownstoner] GMAP

So what do people think about the selling price?

11217, get your ass out there (no homo), er to Last Exit (no homo), er to the bar. Nobody will talk about anyone else’s junk (no homo), whether it is placed on the curb for garbage men to handle (no homo) or placed neatly in a plastic container for easy disposal (no homo).
I understand how you feel, 11217. It is possible to go to one of these events and not speak to those with whom you have no interest or desire to interact with. There are so many great people there, and you can easily meet those you’d like to, have a great time, and then go home. Please consider it.
Hope we manage to meet someday.
Yeah Infinite… you’re development friends would probably only be able to tell you how they made their millions, what galas they’ve had their names on, and if they like horses (and other random crap like that). Nothing too personal… well, unless there is one of those NYT society articles about them!
OK, 69 posts about trash bins etc., but Mr. B has yet to answer the 2 questions about whether this house actually sold for the price in the headline. Anyone??
Thanks Montrose. There are people (like you) who I would really truly love to meet, but lately the attacks about nearly everything I post here by Rob does not make me want to share a room (or bar) with him.
I’m sure Minard would be gracious (despite our differences) but I have no interest in meeting some of these people who seem to go out of their way to attack nearly everything I say.
I’m not complaining and can “take it” (no homo) here on the blog, but I have no interest in putting myself in a social situation where there are people around who show no respect for me whatsoever. Why would I want to be in a room with some guy who makes fun of me constantly for wearing a wig, accusing me of lying that I help my neighbors and calling me a bitch because I like to shop local.
Not gunna happen. I have better ways to spend an evening.
But with that said, I’d certainly love to meet you, Montrose, Dave, CGar, Infinite, Delepp and a host of other really interesting people who post here. I guess tomorrow is just not the day for it.
Tybur, yes I do have such friends. Although I meant more in the way of the Times describing how couples met, like, “Ms. Smith works for NYU and Mr. Smith works for a tech department blah blah blah.”
