Seeking a top Victorian roofer / contractor

Before you buy a house, you should have it inspected by a licensed inspector and engineer of your own choosing, not recommended by the real estate agent. You can look up names on the site of the organization that licenses them or find recommendations here. I recommend Heimer. They charge $900.

Hello
I’m looking at a house in Victorian flatbush. It seems in very good condition as far as I can tell, but I’m no expert so I’d like to get the opinion of a contractor experienced in Victorian single family homes, to hear if the roof might need some retouching or if any work is required inside.

Any recommendations?

There is one true artist in the Dtimas Park area and he is James at Bullseye Roofing. For full roof jobs he is booked months in advance but you can probably catch him for a consultation.  Other people who do a lot of work on those homes (and with quicker availability) are Lester Goldsmith, LaPietra and Payless.
