Replacing a Roof (31x16)

Frame, two family house requires a completely new roof. What does something like this go for? Who do you recommend I contact to get estimates for a 31×16 roof?

Also, how long does a roof replacement typically take to complete? What is the standard warranty? Does a permit need to be filed with the city? What are the different types of roofs out there?

ok since this is regular roof, i am sure you will be putting rubber roof. for this you don’t need any permits as long as person have home improvement license. call the number i gave they should be able to help and ask them.

whoever you get, check their insurance.  this is one of those things where insurance is a must.

(we do not do roofing and my insurance does not allow me to do roofing).

You do not need a permit to do roofing work and the contractor who will be doing your work will have all the supporting to do the work. It is seems like you are doing shingles roof and it will take 3-4 days to finish. I know this contractor who does very good job. CTG Construction 718-669-8305 and ask for Millad.
