Peerless Waterproofers put a new roof on my house a few years ago and warrantied it for 10 years.  We have had leaks and a cracked skylight, and when I called them (went to message; message said “Peerless Waterproofers” also known as Peerless Construction”) “Johnny” returned my call from the same number and said he’d be over.  When Johnny arrived, he said that he had taken over Peerless’ phone number and name and got a referrals list but that he was not honoring their warranty because he was really a different company, something like SGC Construction, and that I’d have to pay him (a lot) to do the warranty work.  So, what can I do here?  This guy is using the Peerless name and referrals but not honoring its committments.  Is anyone familiar with this outfit? Can anyone recommend a reliable roofer?
