  Hiya Brownstoners. After a seemingly endless process, I finally bought a townhouse in South Slope. Thanks for being a great resource during the 18+ months since I started looking for a house. I learned a lot from the forums.   I’d like to recommend a few excellent people for anyone who is looking to buy property in NYC: Ken Goldstein worked as my buyer’s broker for over a year, and worked tirelessly. We must have seen 20 or 30 houses together. He was in a different class than all the other brokers I encountered. Friendly, patient, super knowledgable, and would come out to Brooklyn from uptown Manhattan to meet me on a Sunday with a couple hours’ notice if need be. He knows all the ins and outs, and gave me great referrals. I can’t recommend him highly enough. He inspects houses like it’s his life’s calling. He took photos of every issue, tested every single outlet, found issues I would never had seen, and when the inspection was over… gave me a printed report, with all the photos, on the spot– from his car!
