gemini…They have a lobster tank as you walk in the door. I don’t know but I assume they will cook them for you as well as they also have prepared dishes…Pick up a few tubs of their gumbo…its great.
Dibs – Thanks!
yes I need a store that I can buy fresh lobsters to cook… but will they kill them for me there?!?!?!
checked out their website and it doesn’t mention they sell fresh lobsters
I loved Mexico. Probably one of the last few civilized places on earth where you can have dinner in a 5 star restaurant and there’s a cigar lady walking around with Cohibas to smoke at the table after dessert.
I agree, legion, these place i speak of are not weekly jaunts. A great pork tamale with a Pacifico is as satisfying as a plate of truffled wild boar pappardelle with an expensive Amarone..

“Cuban cigars, “rolled on the hips of virgins””
DIBS likes to roll his cigar on the virgin hips of Cubans.
DIBS, neutralise! NEUTRALISE! The sell-off is coming…
“gemini….Fish Tales on Court Street. Best fish in brooklyn, not the cheapest, but the best.”
Truly stellar, but yes, a little pricey at times.
Any other Cobble Hillers reading here? Anyone know about the partial building collapse over between Marquet/ closer to Joya?
Dibs – Thanks!

“I have to go to Bay Ridge on Saturday.”
Biff decided that after yesterday underwear conversation, he has to go to Century to buy another 99 pairs of underwear to catch up to you ladies. :o)

“The fine dining experience is certainly a thrill but making an inexpensive neighborhood place the routine is much more fulfilling.”
I’m with Legion on this one!
Too bad all the inexpensive nabe places that I regularly frequent aren’t in my nabe!
