Snark, very funny!
A friend just sent me this Facebook status from another friend.
“Getting out the subway heading to work. At the bottom of the last stairwell a guy leaning on the rail (1) + a well-dressed guy (2) standing with him. Asked if everything ok. 2 says 1 thinks he broke some ribs. Pain on coughing and a little short of breath. We suggest the ER as it’s right around the corner. As we reach street level 1 says “Wait, I have to get coffee first. It’s cheaper out here than in the hospital!””
They’re good guys. You have to call and reserve tuna on the weekend if you don’t get there early. It’s sahimi grade. try the skate too if you’ve never had it….just saute it with butter and lemon.
“P.S. Would love to see pix of you in your drummer gear and outfit, Biff. My daughter is studying drums and I want to know what to expect.”
slopefarm, I better not; you would never allow her to continue to play. I have electronic drums at my place in Brooklyn and I would highly recommend them if your daughter is serious about playing. They sound great and keep the noise way way down. You can get ones with pads that actually have almost the same feel as the skins on a traditional kit.
