“A great pork tamale with a Pacifico is as satisfying as a plate of truffled wild boar pappardelle with an expensive Amarone.”
This has so many potential re-writes, it’s hard to know where to start. Regardless, I find DIBS very entertaining and love posts like this. I said it before and will say it again, he’s Brownstoner’s Resident Rascally Renaissance Man.
Jordan’s Lobster House on Flatbush has a great lobster roll, it’s way the heck on the other end of the avenue, next stop is the Marine Park bridge and the Atlantic.
If you are saving money by going chowhound rather than gourmet, why aren’t you doing the same with jazz? Lots of good places to hear great music without coughing up all that dough at Birdland.
