  1. “Individually you cannot but collectively is what forms the basis for those theories.”

Scumbags should be consulted when fancy pants scholars are coming up with economic theories.

  2. Yeah Benson, some of the old school Italians had really good hands. The Albanian guy we hired was trained in Italy to do Terrazzo and to him it was art (his words not mine). He said that he really enjoyed working with terrazzo and fixing up old stone flooring. He had absolutely no social skills and was kind of rude but what sold me is that he refused to take a penny until we were 100% satisfied with his job. He did it the old school way. No deposits/pre-paids or any of that other nonsense.

I had another funny story. My friend hired a 70 year old Italian guy to shellac the floors in his midtown office building. The guy had a very thick Italian accent and would refer to him in third person

    “Vinchenzo no work on weekends”
“Vinchenzo work for 3 months, do good job, take money and go to Italy for 3 months”

The end result was beautiful. The guy did all of the work by hand.

  3. “I agree. Because supposing that you do means you think you understand how all humans make decisions.”

Individually you cannot but collectively is what forms the basis for those theories.

  4. One can see firsthand here why the blue states will continue to decline in importance. Fifty years of no-growth policies and folks still refuse to accept that it might be time for some re-thinking.
