Yeah Scott, LA real estate is not what it used to be. My friend rents a gorgeous apartment right off LeBrea and Hollywood Blvd that’s a thousand sq ft. one bedroom on top floor with balcony with the view of mountains, fireplace and bathroom has separate soaking tub and stand up shower. He gets two parking spots in indoor garage and storage room included. Building has gym and pool (small but still fairly functional). He pays $1,350 for that. He said in 2008 the same apartment was rented for $1,900+.

I got a window seat on the river side this morning, facing backwards this time.
I watched Hook Mountain fade into cerulean blue.
I missed Wheel because of Obama.
Scott, what is the rent on that town house?
damn I missed him. Never been to malibu, maybe a reason to go and see the addison house.
did obama’s speech give anyone angina?
It was the guy doing the grout work on the terra cotta terrace. Yes, saw that house. very nice.
dibs, was it the roofer you were salivating over yesterday on “this old house LA”?
did you see the spanish revival in malibu they showcased? It was fantastic. That stairwar molding in tile was a delight.
