Re my drycleaning, had a nice talk with the two brothers who own the place and discovered with their help (to my chagrin) that the damaged jacket said wash in cold water. They told me that they would never have washed that in cold water, though, by the look of it but it was some flaky synthetic fabric (one of my internet bargins) and they agreed to give me a dry cleaning credit despite that because I am a good customer . 🙂
I am happy about the outcome and feel better about living in the ghetto, even though I had a junkie passed out on my stoop for an hour or so on Saturday.
Dona – Thank you! – I thought it was perfect! – my husband is a slow going dude – doesn’t rush for anyone – he’s a taurus – slow and steady – me I rush around for anyone and anything – haaaa!
