I lied M4L. I tried, caught her for a minute, but she is wiley and tough and got away.
For a bitch woman, there are the usual terms — shrew, bitch, harridan, termagant, but I favor harpy. The harpies were mythological winged figures which tortured the mythical Phineas, swooping down on his banquet, stealing food and then shitting on his plate.
Those kinds of parents don’t care about the emotional impact on the children (& ‘rents aren’t supposed to inform the kids of dereliction on ex’es part.) The guy I spoke of hit his daughter when she verbally defended her mother about something.
If my dad told me that my mom was standing in the way of me getting some Hamptons dollars, I’d be really, really pissed at my mom. It’s some good ammunition.

If I truncated you, you’d be eye-to-eye with Gnorman. 😉

I know, jb, but truncating it made a better lead-in to the War of the Roses trailer. 🙂

Cargar, when it comes to those things, I am squeamish!
But the sound of ‘wombat’ does the trick. It’s got a certain ring to it 🙂
“Shaped like…well, ya know.”
Shaped . . . like . . . a hot dog, perhaps???
Don’t be squeamish, Snaps. You can say it.
Snaps – Wombat doesn’t work as a term of opprobrium – they’re too cute.
