  1. Where were these lawyers when i went through my divorce? Mine did nothing except charge me money. I got royally screwed and he disappeared with everything in a truck one night. The woman he married had a other who was a lawyer- and SHE was really from the utter depths of hell. I had no money to fight anything, having lost it to medical bills and my crap lawyer.

  2. Thanks Snappy. I may take you up on that.

The divorce agreement was created in front of a judge by one of the top divorce lawyers in NYC. However, he has already told me he is not interested in “post judgment enforcement”, and that he would be too expensive. (No kidding!)
His office gave my ex-wife 10 days to comply or they will serve her with a “notice of default”.

At which point they will recommend someone outside their firm for me to retain.

The only thing I am sure of, is that there will be some surprising twists and turns.

  3. quote:
There used to be a group of women mountain bikers in Austin, TX who called themselves the “Wombats”. I think it translated to something like “Women On Mountain Bikes And Tea Society

  4. Be careful of bridge burning. Not always a good idea when it comes to job situations. Maybe start with the one you have now and then go to the bridge burning bastard if things get ugly?

  5. DCB, if you need, I know a matrimonial lawyer who is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. She’s very good, extremely smart and takes no shit. She’s gotten quite good at making a fool out of opposing counsel 🙂
