  1. Esteemed colleague, you chopped off the end of my quote wherein it was written, “if she doesn’t sign, you take her to court where they will compel her to do so!” It’s harder to argue when DCB has a purchase contract signed by the buyer.

  2. jb – Not necessarily. I have a friend whose ex is remarried & even has a new kid & he still keeps taking her back to court. She works long hours & devotes her spare time to her kids – realizing that they’ll be leaving home soon & she’d regret socializing instead of enjoying them. He has caused so much grief just to be vindictive.

  3. I loved War of the Roses. Sad, but hysterical. A good friend of mine is a matrimonial lawyer and I always wind up in awe one one party will do to the other out of spite and regardless of the welfare of the kids.

  4. i think it sucks that you can’t tell someone in a divorce to just go fuck themselves. it’s absurd that you have to pay people like that money. i mean, if children are involved, fine, that’s different. sorta, i still dont understand why you can’t just tell your kids to go fuck off either (it’s mean, but oh well). why are women allowed to put their children up for adoption but men arent allowed to relinquish paternity?
