arkady – do you have siamese cats? they’ve always been my favorite looking cats, but i’ve heard they’re sorta mean. curious if there’s any truth behind that, cuz I’d definitely adopt one!!
lech – I’ve tried to post about the Virginia Siamese Rescue – a terrific place where I got one of mine.

They do a great job of matching cats/kittens with families & are very supportive.
Lech – There’s a wonderful Siamese Rescue group in Virginia which is where I got one of mine. They arrange travel up here. They’re really terrific at matching cats/kittens to the needs/wants of the adopters – you fill in a form & also talk to them. Kittens come in a neat carrier w/ food, litter box & toys & have their shots & are fixed. They have a webcam during the day: http://va.siameserescue.org/
& the site gives details about adoption.
DO NOT go out and get apurebread cat when there are so many great ones at shelters. You could easily find two that are already litter trained, get along quite nicely and might even be declawed (unless they will be going outside)
it’s just a special dry food you buy – but you can feed it your leftover chicken and beef (pork isn’t good)
kittens are like 900 bucks, and it pretty much ensures you don’t get one of those annoying aloof cats that sleep under your bed all day and only come out to eat, poop and destroy your furniture.
I always assumed animals from shelters were skanky and had emotional problems. Is that not true?
we had a burmese….there’s a burmese rescue too
