lech- that shouldn’t be a problem for cats. However make sure to make much of them before you leave, apologize profusely before going and have little expensive gifts on your return. Because a miffed kitty can be very evil. I once went awy for seven days. My neighbor checked in and fed the cats every day yet the one who was the most needy left a little deposit every day in the middle of the living room floor. Never did it when I was home though.
Best working cat I’ve known was Reggie at Regina’s Bakery on 7th. He was super friendly & had passing dogs cowed. He’d sit on the pavement outside & dogs gave him a wide berth – really funny.
Lech – if you have 2 cats it’s not horrendous to leave them for a while but they still need care.
Lech, there’s now supposedly a cat toilet seat that one can potty train cats over a 5 wk period. pitch is that saves on kitty litter and no cat pee smell

How do you go about getting a cat anyways? I don’t want some skanky can from a shelter. I figure start with a couple of kittens.
But a long weekend in VT (3 full days), no problem as long as they have fresh litter and lots of water, right?
