Dumb Question – I am expecting my snow boots to arrive today via UPS (I tracked it and it says it’s in transit) do you think UPS trucks are even making deliveries? Am hoping the driver would have the sense to park on 5th avenue and walk up the block and deliver packages rather than attempt to drive the truck up my block
If he does make it – should I hit him with a few bucks as a tip?
I’m annoyed at all the asshats who are now blocking streets. There is a minivan stuck right in the middle of Union between Franklin and Bedford. There are several cars partially blocking the street/intersection at Franklin and Carroll (which was plowed at some point). Even when the plows do show up it will be a tough go getting around some of these cars. Right now it looks like everything south of Carroll on Franklin down to Empire is passable. I don’t expect them to plow Carroll until Thursday or so. As long as I’ve lived there it’s always been at least 24 hours before the street gets cleared.
MM- I couldn’t agree more.Laetitia James was on Fox 5 morning today and she said the same thing -that this is the first year where there have been so many widespread complaints of people’s streets still unplowed 24 hours later…..
my street is still a mess!
Also, snow situation aside, Monday was a beautiful day.

Bus still stuck on Halsey Street.
Did you read about the people trapped on an unheated A train overnight?
DCat – are we allowed to discuss?
DCB – you must be kidding
BOD – I am hearing many parts of Bayridge still untouched by plows – not sure about main avenues – but side streets in the 80’s and 90’s are still bad

“There really is no excuse for this.”
