A senior guy here lives in Monmouth County. His street has not been cleaned and it took him 3 hours to get here by bus. I told him he should stay in a hotel in town tonight. What a disaster.

“Sugar at new high….30 year high!!!!!” — I’m hoping that’s a commodities price and not your blood levels.
jackal — They seem to be opening up some of the side streets, but, of course, there are less than half the normal number of parking spots and everyone is plowed in. Would recommend a car service and leaving your car in long term parking for a day or two, then going back and getting it as things clear. According 311, alternate side is starting back up tomorrow. Warming trend this week so we’re in for a messy melt tomorrow through new years weekend but parking will gradually open up.

“PS – most of Long Island has been cleaned and cleared and continue to do so….
So what is the city’s problem?”
