LOL dipster at your brownstone property tax comment. he’s kinda right people, you cant your cake and eat it too when it comes to these kinds of things. like tyra banks says, you gotta pay up or shut up!
city buses should have had chains on the tires. if there’s one thing we shouldn’t be seeing abandoned on NYC streets, it’s buses without chains on the tires.

Probably this is different between Bayridge and Parkslope. Here people calm and help each other. In Parkslope they complain. “oh, why my street is not plowed for 24hours.”, “oh, why they started with Manhattan”, “Oh it is all Bloombergs’ fault”.
LOL. well for what it’s worth i saw a LOT of people helping each other out and not complaining.. tho please see my last post, cuz we have a lot of those types to deal with as well. i took a hands off approach to this snow storm tho. can’t be asked, im on vacation.
gemini. City tried to clear streets starting Sunday night. But many of them were blocked by abandoned cars. In aftermath, I think city should have dispatched a snow truck with winch and pull all stranded cards from the streets. Then send snow plaws.
But seriously, sanitation people work around the clock. ambulances work around the clock and do their best. In 1996 Gulianni handled his monster storm with about the same approach and the same speed. Given revenues not the same as in 1996, I would give very good grade to Bloomberg.
PS, I am not affiliates with nether political parties.
I’m feeling kind of quitty. Stayed up all night last night with a vomiting child, now spending all day today on work calls, and people keep tasking me with drafting documents by the end of the day today. (on xmas vaca, natch)
When my mind wanders these days I end up reading stuff about generating electricity through wood gasification and how to build greenhouses.

get this – he said there were stops (Prince/Canal) that when the train doors opened the platforms had SNOW AND ICE on them and hadn’t been cleared – so when people got off the train they were slipping on the icy platforms
damnit on a stick. that is the stop i get out in the morning and im off all week. hello lawsuits! grrrr.. hahha jk i hate phoney lawsuits
oh i posted this yesterday but i want to post it again because im still trying to wrap my head around it. 5th ave was definitely a mess yesterday with abandoned cars and tons of people digging their cars out. there was an AMBULANCE stuck in the snow and two workers weree digging out the ambulance and well i guess throwing the snow where they fet fit. this hornrimmed nasaltard starts whining at the ambulance people, excuuuuuuuuse me i’ve been trying to dig out my car ALL morning. lol. i seriously wanted to throw a snowball in his face, he;s lucky he was wearing glasses (you can blind if you get hit with a snowball and the glass cracks!! not good if youre that kind of person to be walking around in a snowstorm)

do you think there are valuables in any of these abandoned cars? are abandoned cars under the same legislation as abandoned puppies?

lechacal…think “Fuckedinparkslope” and multiply it by a large number!!!!
“So basically you’re all telling me that BK is unusually fucked right now. Not the usual snowstorm mess. Something worse.”
yeah – it’s pretty bad. it looks sorta like the zombie apocalypse happened. abandoned cars everywhere.
