Depraved indifference!!!
DOS. That said, most employees of the DOE are also guilty of depraved indifference.
Oh really??? What do you know about employees of the DOE, except for anecdotes? And how much of what you’ve heard is not first-hand? HINT: The Post and the News have NO CLUE.

Sorry, rob, you won’t get more money just cuz you want it.
hogwash, skidmarks, and poppycock all rolled up into capitalistic metaphor barfitto. you stop, i will get my deductions this year if i have to go to the public library and look them up myself! everyone else gets them. i will too.
ill deduct my newports if i have to! i’ll say it’s some kind of familial hereditary disease or something, im sure there are clauses.
Hi DIBS, No, I haven’t fallen in a snowbank, but BH did earlier!
Have been taking care of house guest who came down with the flu, and elderly neighbors who needed groceries, and taking care of my cold. It’s been non-stop excitement over here. ; )
Gem – about six year ago. The arrest was upstate. Everyone was charged, being there was an ounce of weed in the car. Both were convicted, he got jail time the other kid got probation and community service. In situtations like these you don’t ask too many questions. She came to church and asked everyone to pray for her son.
Rob, yes, it was terrible. None of us had ever seen anything like that and we could barely work with all of that going on.
BUT…..PAYBACK IS A BITCH…….
A friend, very nice, successful guy in Houston, now working for a hedge fund recently calls me up and says “You used to work at Chase….did you ever know a person by the name of Ms. T?” Whoaaaaaa……Yes I did. I gave him the full run down, he was very thankful and did not meet her to discuss whatever harebrained scheme she was pitching to him.
CH – ugh that houseguest sounds like trouble!
you are super nice like RF helping out your older neighbors!!!
Bedstuymaven – ugh what? was the other kid white? that’s insane that the black kid did solid time and the other kid didn’t
“supposedly you can get reimbursed for commuting, having student loans, and have dependents?”
LOL – you can can deduct the interest you PAY on student loans. Start paying the loans, then worry about interest deductions.
