rob – I hated you before :-). The kid was essentially a good kid. I knew him when he was younger from church, but like a lot of kids they stop coming when they hit their teens. He was in college getting good grades, etc. I don’t think these kids were running a major weed selling operation. Not that I am condoning their behavior, but most college kids experiment with drugs and alchohol. Plus they were at New Plaz. Even when I went to college back in the middle ages, New Plaz has a reputation as a party school. The mother was at the end of our rope.
Dave, despite or because of the union (pick one, doesn’t matter), most DOE employees I have encountered, and that is a lot of employees, ARE NOT guilty of depraved indifference, or any kind of indifference.

my grandmother used to do that. put money into my uncle’s account. not in the tomb’s, but he was at Riker’s and some place in jersey (if riker’s is in jersey, sorry) but it was a different place, i want to say trenton? she used to put like 50-100 bux into his account a week and it would all go to things like socks and underwear :-/ who needs 50-100 dollars in socks and underwear in prison, let alone ANYWHERE? im certain all the money went to buy things that could be exchanged for heroin. barf. he as the reason i couldnt go to my senior prom in a limo, and well the whole family was the reason i didnt even go to my senior prom at all! but there were ice cream snicker bars in the freezer as some sort of consolation prize.
okay, i cant blame it on that even tho i really want to. but i could given the circumstances, looks like it, no? not like i could have asked for money.
Gem, This is the SAME guest who went out in the storm the other night and came back a crazed lunatic with an anxiety attack. Apparently terrified. Lily-livered West Coasters! : P
“”Wall Street 2″ on demand. what an awful movie.”
Precisely why I didn’t go to see it. But I would like to see it when it comes on TV.
Was it painfully predictable?
