BoerumHillScott, that about says it for me re pets. I have a tenant who is a neat freak, as prissy as all get-out, an impeccable housekeeper. She also has a cat. Despite her spic and span apt, the place smells like cat piss. She scrupulously scoops out poop but I guess lets the litter stand a while. It is really foul. I think that is inevitable unless you clean and wash a litter box everyday. I just can’t do that. Also, the traveling thing is a problem too.
donatella, would you make that unit “No Pets” on the next tenant? I’m definitively going “No Pets” on my rental

It must be an old show, circa 2007.
I’m a big fan of keeping a pet-free house, although we did have a cat once, and later a rabbit.
I don’t like the mess or the potential destruction, and having to take care of pets certainly complicates traveling.
bsm, sounds like entitlement act 2 to me.
