“denton, all the big firms with the top notch procurement teams are great at working capital mgt – that’s why they freaking exist”
Maybe retail’s different… but over the years done biz with GE, all the big oils, petrochems… all pay in 30 days and love dealing w small companies like mine who will give discount for payment in 15 days.
We do our own working capital mgmt… we don’t deal with government, non-profits like hospitals, similar types of institutions… we will deal with certain universities that pay. The dregs we leave to the competition.
Yes, i too am liberal on a number of issues, issues that don’t certainly fit the mainstream of what your arguably bigotted view of the poor folks in Alabama is.
“Why do the liberals always bring up that corporations likely don’t pay taxes?????????? WEhere do they learn this???? Is it stated in the Subaru owner’s manual somewhere????”

well i kinda live the minimum wage lifestyle just as you described monstrose, because i like to give my dog a good life and big tobacco has me by the balls. that sounds totally weird, but it’s true.
I hate to interrupt, but a satisfied customer posted a great Forum post singing Adam Dahill’s praises, so it would be great if anyone who has worked with Adam would comment >>>
And, no, I didn’t create the ohtotally log-in for that post. Just saw it in the Forum is all, and I’ve been working with Adam, and like him a lot.
You can always join the military (I did one time when I ran out of money). Or move to a part of the country where there are jobs (South Dakota is desperate for labor).

Thanks Denton and Dibs
I can fully admit I could not live on an $8 hour job in nyc – no way!

“It seems for hating liberals you LOVE to live in a highly liberal city. I don’t see you guys packing your bags for Alabama.”
I’m generally a liberal myself on a lot of issues. I’m having a conservative day today.
