DeLepp, I am glad that Susan Boyle got her chance, her money, her new image, etc. etc. But come on folks, for 25 bucks in NYC you can hear the best voices in the world and well….she has a pleasant voice and that is IT. I think that she had trouble singing on the View….her voice was cracking.
Maybe they were going down a narrow aisle and their legs got tangled.
Gem, I was just coming out of the Borough Hall stop and some guy was opening his umbrella. The umbrella inverted INSIDE the station, while he was on the second step, the wind tunnel effect was so great.

g10, I sure hope Congress does it. I’m gonna keep my conservative hat on today and point out that extending unemployment is great stimulus. All the money gets spent, none saved (for most people).

Very cool. I am on the 40th Floor today, one seat from the window. Torrential, sheeting rain hitting the windows really hard right now, and you can see a thing outside, only white as if you’re passing through clouds.
