  1. I know a dumpling place in Chinatown that sells them 5 for a dollar. Right near the park. My cousin and I went and when we asked for two boxes for 10 dumplings, the lady first threw the dumplings back into the vat with great pissed off gusto and then took out 5 and put them in a box and another 5 and put them in a box. One for me, one for her.

My cousin who is anything but obsequious, EVER, (actually I would put her in the category of fierce) said “thank you SO much, I REALLY appreciate it.”

“Hey, I don’t want to mess up this relationship,” she explained as an aside to me.

On a more wholesome note, there’s a dumpling place that serves 5 dumplings for $1.25 right across from the big park in Chinatown (close to the funeral home and Dunkin Donuts). The dumplings are delicious!

that’s a big secret around here, dont be outing that shit out on the internet

    *rob*

  3. “DH I have loud kids. No way am I in a position to complain about other people being loud. The arrangement is this: you keep me up all night, my kids wake you up at 5 am.”

haha – sounds fair enough!! your kids are loud but super cute. loud singing of ‘they might be giants’ is a-o-k in my book.

  4. And thanks to CGar for the suggestion to go to Bruno’s for my door lock. They had an exact replica of the one I had that broke and I was able to change out the back piece without changing the cylinder, so I don’t even have to get new keys. Awesomeness.

  5. “dh, kid that works for me said he went to a karaoke joint up in bburg over the weekend. Lulu’s near n 6th and Metro? He said it was all hiphop karaoke, if there is such a thing.”

cool! i walk by that place everyday and always wonder what goes on in there. it’s a really big place. hip hop karaoke can be fun!
