Yes Legion, I remember the avatar. I preferred Hal to that shitting anime thing you had.
All of the acid trip stuff at the end was a bit much, but it doesn’t take the movie below A+. The third stage of evolution (beyond technology) concept is thought provoking (or “deep, man”, as I’m sure I would have said in 1966). It’s astonishing to think the movie was made in 1966. Apart from the hairdos the movie is as relevant / current today as it ever was. I hate hate hate hate hate CGI movies like the new Star Wars trilogy. If 2001 were made today it would be 100% CGI and have tons of explosions and generally bore me to sleep.
depending on which one has the better pkg deal, will get one of them (xbox, wii, or play station) for the kid so he can play those physical interaction games
biff, you got the dumplings on mulberry (ie same street as D Donuts) or that small side street Moscoe St btwn Mott and Mulberry? the one on Moscoe is the more popular dumpling place
“And thanks to CGar for the suggestion to go to Bruno’s for my door lock.”
No problem, Biff. Always happy to help you out.

“what’s next at the Williamsburg Duane Reade,
an open mike night in the back while you wait
for your prescriptions to be filled?”
who the hell knows. i find it very entertaining though. can’t say i’ve bought anything, but i enjoy the spectacle of it all.
